Lost...and found!

A terrible, awful thing happened today: I lost my wedding ring. Not just my wedding band, but my 1 carat diamond solitaire too. And then a wonderful, miraculous thing happened. Someone FOUND IT!!! I have been crying all afternoon because it was lost and now I am crying because it is found. I can't even believe it.

Today we took the kids to The Rock Ranch, a ranch run by the owners of Chick-Fil-A. It is a really fun place, especially for younger children. They have tons of fun things to do: bouncy houses, a corn maze, a petting zoo, train rides, etc. Aiden and Ava both had a lot of fun, and Chuck and I did too!

By far, Aiden's favorite thing at the ranch was the Corn House. It is an outdoor house FULL of 6,000 pounds of dried, shelled corn. A redneck ballpit, if you will. I brought Ava in and we had tons of fun playing in the corn. But on the way home, Chuck looked over at my hand and said, "Where is your wedding ring?" I started crying immediately--I knew I had lost it in the corn. I couldn't even believe it. There was no way that anyone would find it in 6,000 pounds of corn!!! I called the ranch as soon as we got home and left my name and number. And...

THEY FOUND IT!!! I am so happy, I can't even believe it. The woman running the corn house found it and put it in the vault for me and we'll be going back next weekend to pick it up. Now to remember NOT to wear it in the corn house, lol.
