I wish I could say that I came up with this awesome idea myself. It's one of those projects that as soon as you see it you slap your hand to your forehead and say, "DUH! Now why didn't I think of that?" So simple, easy and CHEAP, and oh so much fun:)
So this project came from Filth Wizardry and Cheerios Underfoot. My kids LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba, so when I saw how she did them, I simply had to copy it. Our Brobee was colored with green washable marker that came off in the tub (poor Brobee) but he still looks pretty cute;) Ava's favorite is the blue cat, Toodee.
Then Aiden asked for Mr. Strong, and I have a feeling that the entire afternoon is going to be devoted to making the Lil' Miss and Lil' Men collection. They are so cute, how could I resist? We got the craft foam from The Dollar Tree, so this entire project literally cost $1 (although I bought 4 packs of foam, so we can make MORE of course, lol).
PS--one of my favorite things to do when I am checking my blog is to hit the "Next Blog" button at the top of the screen. You just NEVER know what kind of blog you'll find. This is what I stumbled on last night and if only I knew how to sew, I'd be busting these out all over the place. It is soooo cute!
